Tourism in Mexico, stronger than ever
As part of the prospects for the recovery of the industry, IHG noted that individual travel planning has recovered and is currently above the levels recorded in 2019, and the trend is expected to continue to strengthen.

Today, Mexico has recovered more than 70% of its international travelers to the country, although this percentage has been specifically concentrated in some tourist destinations, the growth has been exponential compared to 2021. According to experts, Mexico is part of the countries that lead the tourism recovery at a global level. By the end of 2022, Mexico is projected to continue its consistent improvement, recovering and even exceeding 80% of the booking levels recorded in 2019 or exceeding them in some cases.
