IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the leading hotel companies in the world, announced the signing of two new voco hotels in Guadalajara and Saltillo. These franchises mark the introduction of the luxury hospitality brand, voco hotels, in the Mexican market, and an extension of its global reach that provides continuity to its current presence in major cities in the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.
The first, scheduled to open in late 2022, owned by Vertex Ophthalmic Group, will be the Guadalajara Neruda hotel that will occupy five floors of the 11-story Neruda 2828 mixed-use project within the city's financial district. With 104 rooms, a restaurant, bar and rooftop terrace, business center and gym. The hotel will welcome business and leisure travelers in an environment that is comfortable and reliable, but also vibrant and unique in character.

It will be in 2023 that the voco hotel Saltillo will open its doors, hand in hand with American Hotels Group, owner and developer, through the conversion of a property originally built as an independent hotel in 2006. Conveniently located between the automotive and manufacturing district of Saltillo and adjacent to the American Sports Center recreational complex, voco hotel Saltillo will have 125 guest suites, meeting spaces, gym, indoor pool, restaurant and bar.
