NH Hotel Group announces the opening of its new NH Iquique Pacífico hotel, which will be located in the city of Iquique. With this incorporation, NH strengthens its proposal in the region with a total of 23 hotels: 6 in Chile; 16 hotels in Argentina and 1 hotel in Uruguay.
“This new hotel shows that we continue to move forward with our expansion plan, betting on continued growth in Chile and the region, through our 8 brands: Anantara, Avani, Elewana, Oaks, NH Hotels, NH Collection, Nhow and Tivoli, consolidating our position in the 4 and 5 star categories in both urban hotels and resorts”, says Diego Chourrout, Cono Sur regional director.
The hotel, located in the center of the city, will have 134 rooms and suites, a restaurant, bar, solarium, fitness center, parking, meeting rooms and a large hall of almost 400m2. In addition, it will be possible to experience the concept of the integrated “lobby alive”, a space that will be the nerve center of the hotel, a collaborative environment where guests and the local public will interact.
Iquique is the capital of the Tarapacá region and one of the most visited cities in northern Chile. This city offers a great tourist attraction due to its numerous and pleasant beaches, ideal for leisure travellers. Visitors can also take interesting tours such as the historic center, the Isluga Volcano National Park, the Mamiña Hot Springs, or a visit to the town of La Tirana where traditional religious festivals are held.
