Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts renews the “Health and Safety” quality certificate
The hotel chain has once again passed the more than 300 audits carried out by biologists and experts in Public Health from the international consulting firm HS Consulting in all its destinations
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, the hotel division of Grupo Piñero, has obtained the renewal of the "Health and Safety" quality certificate in the establishments that the company owns in all the destinations where it is present.
In this way, the seal, issued by the international auditing company HS Consulting Group, certifies that the group maintains the implementation of a quality management system that guarantees the hygienic-sanitary standard of its hotels and resorts, as well as compliance with the state and international regulations to ensure the health, hygiene and safety of its guests and collaborators.
In this regard, José María Berrio, CEO of HS Consulting Group, presented Antonio Teijeiro, Chief Operating Officer of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, with the certification materializing said renewal at a meeting held at the corporate headquarters that the Group owns in Palma de Majorca.

In this sense, certifications such as “Health and Safety” demonstrate this”, highlights Antonio Teijeiro, Chief Operating Officer of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts.
For his part, José María Berrio, CEO of HS Consulting Group, has highlighted that "the demanding audits that we carry out at HS Consulting are based on compliance with state, regional and local regulations of each destination, as well as international standards, recommendations of the WHO (World Health Organization) and requirements of tour operators”.
To achieve and renew this certificate, the Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts establishments in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica and Spain (Canary and Balearic Islands), have received more than 300 technical audits in the last year by the HS Consulting team. In this sense, a team made up of biologists and experts in Public Health has evaluated the correct procedures and good practices carried out by hotels and resorts in food safety, hygiene and quality of drinking water, hygiene and safety in SPAs and swimming pools, prevention of virally transmitted diseases, hygiene and safety in children's clubs; and total security, including beach security and hurricane security.
