This meeting conveys certainty and stability to investors in the tourism sector in the face of the government transition in Quintana Roo, making it clear that when will and work are combined in favor of a state and society, it is feasible to continue investments and the development of destinations, such as those that the entity has today.
The heads of the state executive will carry out a work tour of Spain that has included meetings with businessmen such as Encarnación Piñero García, executive president of Grupo Piñero (Bahia Principe Hotels); Ramón Roselló, general manager of INVEROTEL; to mention some of those who are part of the Association of International Hotel Investors (INVEROTEL), an organization that represents the largest Spanish capitals with a presence in the Mexican Caribbean.
As a result of this meeting, the processes were strengthened to specify 1,250 rooms, which will be built in the last quarter of 2022, and the start of new projects representing 750 rooms by 2023 was completed, anticipating a projection of 2,000 new rooms in 2024. the territorial reserves that the different investors already have.
