Guanacaste Airport is recognized as the best in the region

Leaders of Guanacaste Airport received this Wednesday the award for the Best Airport in Latin America and the Caribbean, in the category of less than two million passengers, in a ceremony organized by the Airports Council International (ACI) in Krakow, Poland.

Guanacaste Airport, a member of the VINCI Airports network, is honored for the fourth consecutive year with the Airport Service Quality Awards (ASQ). These are the most recognized awards in the aeronautical industry and are obtained through the evaluations made by passengers passing through the terminal.

Guanacaste Airport, also obtained a second prize for the airport with the "Best Sanitary Measures" in its region. This award evaluates the quality of the health protocols implemented, complemented by VINCI Airports' "Let's Protect Ourselves" global campaign.

In total, VINCI Airports this year places 9 airports in its network among the best in the world in terms of service quality in the Airports Council International (ACI) ranking, which are the world reference in terms of airport service quality. This ranks Guanacaste with airports such as Porto and Ponta Delgada in Portugal, in their respective region and size categories.
