Karina Fioranelli has been appointed director of sales and account management for travel agencies in Brazil. While Paola Biatturi will now be responsible for Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia
Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), a leading provider of software and technology powering the global travel industry, today announced leadership changes in Latin America. Karina Fioranelli has been appointed director of sales and account management for travel agencies in Brazil, and Paola Biatturi is expanding her area of responsibility to include Chile, in addition to Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia.
Karina Fioranelli, based in São Paulo, Brazil, will lead the team responsible for growing Sabre in this key Latin American market. She joined Sabre 22 years ago and, throughout her career, has held various positions in different areas, including training, sales, global operations and marketing. In addition to her new role, Fioranelli will continue to lead the regional sales campaigns team, which is responsible for strengthening relationships and driving business growth with new and existing agency accounts in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Paola Biatturi, director for the region covering southern countries, is based in Montevideo, Uruguay. She joined Sabre in 2004 and has held strategic leadership positions that have helped drive the business forward and open up new growth opportunities. In her recently expanded role, Biatturi will maintain and develop new strong and long-standing business relationships with companies in Chile, while moving forward with strategic partnerships in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia.

The changes come shortly after Elisa Carneiro assumed her new position. Carneiro, who is based in São Paulo, Brazil, now leads the commercial team serving agency clients in 43 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
