Sensira Resort & Spa is one of the most interesting complexes within the Riviera Maya. What is the origin of this property and what markets does it target?
It is a hotel that has been operating for three years, unfortunately it opened in the midst of the health crisis. It is an all-inclusive complex concept, but it is focused on the luxury segment market. We are focused on the luxury segment, but family, we cover all ages because the idea is that the whole family can get together regardless of their age to live a pleasant experience offering entertainment, gastronomy and spaces designed for each one.
We are members of the Leading Hotels of the World, we are part of the chain that has more than 400 hotels of this level around the world and we have just received the Four Diamond classification from the American Automobile Association, which gives us great support for international level.
What type of rooms do you offer?
We have 359 rooms, as part of the family concept there will be those who come perhaps with the family, but want to be in a place where they can have more peace of mind, therefore we offer the Ambar rooms that have, for example, the club that is a lounge exclusively for adults who are staying in that category and have butler service in this exclusive place and can check in and out more quickly. They have a private pool for adults only and they can be more comfortable.
We also offer the Zafiro suites, which have different capacities that adapt to the needs of families.
What kind of nightly entertainment do you offer?
We have a theater where AAA-verified nightly shows are offered for all ages, and we also offer daytime entertainment so guests always have a great time.
Which source markets are strategic for you?
We focus on traditional and non-traditional markets. The United States, Canada, Latin America and also Europe are the most important today. In addition, our offer for the MICE segment is a great support to generate demand. We have a convention center. Being the venue for important events, we can accommodate groups. Our auditorium has a capacity of up to 400 people. The wedding segment is also growing and strategic for us.
