Discovery Cove today announced its expanded all-inclusive dining options with the addition of the Blue Bamboo Bar and Hibiscus Hideaway, two new food and beverage venues now open at the one-of-a-kind day resort in Orlando. In addition to buffet-style breakfast and gourmet lunch at the resort’s Laguna Grill, and endless snacks and drinks throughout the park, guests can now stop by the Blue Bamboo Bar and Hibiscus Hideaway to feed the fun with flatbread pizza, as well as multiple tasty snack and dessert options – all included with each admission. The themed dining outlets also feature unique seating options, a selfie-ready mural backdrop, and seven new signature drinks (available for purchase, or with a premium drink package).
Adjacent to the resort’s fan favorite Sunken Terrace, the Blue Bamboo Bar uses mixed metals, a brilliant palette of indigo hues, and towering thickets of exotic tropical blue bamboo (bambusa chungii) to create a fun, island-style tiki bar vibe. Guests can hang out on the playful swing seats, take a selfie in front of the “Paradise Found” Blue Bamboo wall, and pick up unlimited “grab-and-go” snacks throughout the day, including chocolate chip cookies, soft pretzels, chips and more. The bartenders are serving up four refreshing new signature drinks, available for purchase or as part of Discovery Cove’s premium drink package. The drinks include the Blue Bamboo, flavored with Malibu Coconut Rum, blue curacao, and pineapple juice; the Blueberry Splash, with Tito’s Vodka, blueberry puree, lemonade, and Sprite; the Serenity Bay, infused with Milagro Silver, blue curacao and sweet and sour mix; and the Aloha Sunrise, layered with Tito’s Vodka, Bacardi Rum, blue curacao, grenadine, and pineapple and orange juices.
Located across from Discovery Cove’s shimmering Dolphin Lagoon, Hibiscus Hideaway is inspired by the beauty and color of the tropical hibiscus flower. In this vibrant setting, guests may enjoy freshly baked pizza from 10:30am – 4:30pm. Guests can also enjoy unlimited vanilla and pineapple flavored soft serve ice cream as one of their all-inclusive culinary offerings. There are three new signature drinks on the Hibiscus Hideaway menu, also available for purchase, including the Hibiscus Hideaway Lemonade, featuring a flavorful taste of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum with a splash of hibiscus puree and Sprite; the Passion Fruit Delight with a delightful mix of Milagro Silver Tequila, passion fruit, hibiscus, orange and lime juice; the Paradise Breeze with refreshing Tito’s Vodka, Triple Sec, raspberry and hibiscus puree The beautiful floral landscaping and swing seating provide a relaxing spot for guests to rest and recharge before continuing their all-day adventure.
