Emirates resumed the flight from Dubai to Buenos Aires

The connection, which will have an intermediate stop in Rio de Janeiro, has 4 flights per week and will give the country the possibility of receiving tourists from new markets

Around 9:00 p.m., the Ministro Pistarini International Airport in the town of Ezeiza, 45 minutes from the center of the City of Buenos Aires, received the Emirates flight from Dubai, with an intermediate stopover in Rio de Janeiro. This great news meant the return to the country of the Dubai-Buenos Aires connection through the aforementioned airline after the difficulties presented by the pandemic.

"This return of the Emirates flight from Dubai to Buenos Aires with a connection in Rio de Janeiro confirms the good results we had this year in terms of connectivity. In addition, it is a vote of confidence and recognition towards our country by one of the major airlines in the world. Thanks to strong management work, the recovery of international flights goes hand in hand with the accelerated reactivation of tourism in our country," said the Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR), Ricardo Sosa.

The Director of Markets of INPROTUR, Oscar Suárez, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Argentina, Saeed Abdulla ALQEMZI, the head of the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC), Paola Tamburelli, the Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations of Emirates for the Americas , Salem Obaidalla, and the Emirates Manager in Brazil, Stephane Perard, were present at Ezeiza to welcome the passengers.

The new Emirates flight, operated on a Boeing 777-300ER, departs from Dubai at 08:05 (local time) on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving at Ezeiza at 20:40. In this way, an unbeatable opportunity is opened for travelers from the Middle East and Africa to visit our destinations.

Undoubtedly, this is another important advance in air connectivity. This year the flights with Rome (Italy) had already been recovered through Aerolineas Argentinas (AR) and ITA and the routes from Brasilia, Curitiba and Porto Alegre (Brazil) to Buenos Aires through AR, among others. In addition, GOL increased its frequencies above the operating capacity it had in the pre-pandemic.
