The City Council will be present at the new edition of World Travel Market
The City Council, through Quito Tourism, will be present at the new edition of the World Travel Market, from November 7 to 9 at ExCel (London – United Kingdom), one of the fundamental events for tourism at a global level, with the aim of publicizing the most significant tourist products of the capital and establishing relationships that favor the flow of tourists.
During the three days of the fair, Quito Turismo will participate in the Ecuador stand and will hold more than 30 meetings to establish relationships with the main travel agencies, tour operators and the media in the British and European markets.
Quito gastronomy will have a great representation thanks to the canelazo tastings that will be served at the stand during the three days of the fair.
Likewise, within the framework of the World Travel Market, Quito was nominated in the category of "Most Desired Destination" of the Wanderlust Travel Awards, awards organized by the prestigious British magazine Wanderlust, specialized in tourism and travel. During the gala that will take place on November 8, at The Tower of London, it will be known if Quito obtains this new recognition.
In this way, the Capital of the Center of the World maintains its strategy of positioning and disseminating its attractions and experiences in the international market. This time in the United Kingdom, which, until before the pandemic, sent nearly 20,000 tourists to our city.
