In a meeting between the President of Turkish Airlines and the Minister of Tourism Sofia Montiel de Afara, an agreement was reached that could benefit tourism in both countries
The Minister of Tourism, Sofía Montiel de Afara, accompanied the president of the National Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (DINAC), Félix Kanazawa during a working meeting with the President of the Turkish Airlines airline, Ahmed Bolat.
It was within the framework of the official mission of the Paraguayan authorities. They were accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay in Türkiye, Ceferino Valdez, and the Honorary Consul of Paraguay in Istanbul, Cengiz Deveci.
The authorities agreed to work on carrying out tourism marketing campaigns, in order to promote both countries and increase the number of passengers on commercial flights.
These actions will be relevant for the strengthening of bilateral relations and further unite Paraguay with Türkiye.
They also discussed the possibility of the Turkish airline carrying out cargo flights from the Guaraní International Airport located in Alto Paraná.
