Arajet, the new low-fare airline from the Dominican Republic landed for the first time at Kingston's Norman Manley International Airport, starting a direct route with two weekly frequencies to connect the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. Angie Martínez, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic in Jamaica, received the first flight from Santo Domingo, assuring that “Since we arrived in Kingston, achieving air connectivity between the Dominican Republic and Jamaica was one of our most important goals.
