Dominican Republic improves its tourist services

Case makers are trained in the province of Barahona in Los Patos and El Quemaito beach to provide better service to tourists

With the aim of providing a better service to local and foreign tourists, the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR) through the Vice Ministry of Tourism Destination Management and the National Institute for Professional Technical Training (INFOTEP), began training for employees and owners of booths and small businesses on beaches and spas in the southern region of the country.

This is a project that definitely comes to provide greater security and reliability to tourists through good treatment towards them, good hygiene in the premises and impeccability in the aforementioned stalls.

The aforementioned trainings are being carried out in the province of Barahona in Los Patos and El Quemaito beach, by trained personnel, there, those who attended had the opportunity to acquire new knowledge in terms of domain and control of the services that they provide to your visitors.

In the same sense, next week they will be moving to the province of San Cristóbal to transmit this knowledge to the employees and owners of booths on Palenque beach.

Maribel Hernández, southern regional director, stated that this project will make a significant contribution to tourism in the country, because through these trainings a better performance will be reflected when serving tourists.

So far, more than one hundred tape recorders have benefited from this project and have shown a pronounced commitment and a happiness that is transmitted on their faces. It should be noted that it intends to expand in the four regions of the country.
