The expression of interest form is now available on the website
Uniting all the links in the travel and tourism industry to leverage business has always been the main mission of WTM Latin America, positioned as the largest B2B tourism event in the region. One of the tools to consolidate this mission is the Hosted Buyers Program, an initiative that invites qualified buyers to participate in the event.
Registrations can be made through a form on the website and are aimed at professionals specialized in leisure tourism, those focused on the MICE market or corporate tourism. Interested parties will be selected according to criteria that include, among other requirements, experience in the area, decision-making power within the company and familiarity with Latin American products, as well as interest in business expansion and prospecting for different suppliers in the region. .
Fiona D'Souza, manager of WTM Latin America's Hosted Buyers program, explains that professionals who register interest in participating in the program will go through a careful qualification process, to ensure that they have decision-making power to close deals. “We intend to select and invite 60% buyers from Latin America and 40% from other global destinations, which means that vacancies are highly contested,” she says.
Among the commitments assumed by the guests are participation in all networking events and compliance with a minimum agenda of meetings organized on the platform dedicated to the event. “The program is very complete and includes, among others, Speed Networking with exhibitors, destination presentations and concierge-type support services for scheduling meetings within the platform, always with the aim of supporting them in building new businesses”, concludes the executive
WTM Latin America has 3 buyers programs: Hosted Buyers, WTM Buyers' Club and Agent en Ruta. In the 2022 edition, WTM Latin America enabled the participation of 51 Hosted Buyers from 15 countries, more than 1,000 from the Buyers' Club and 540 travel agents from the main Brazilian capitals and important places in the interior of São Paulo.
