Folatur assumes the vice presidency of the WTAAA

The organization will be chaired by Andrew Bowman, representative of TAANZ, the Association of Travel Agents of New Zealand

For two days, in Athens (Greece), the World Alliance of Travel Agents Associations, WTAAA, is holding its General Assembly and the traditional meeting of its board, with the aim of opening a space for the different Associations of Agencies, with the objective of showing the development of the industry, the execution of strategies for its strengthening in the different regions, the consolidation of air connectivity and the strengthening of relations with airlines. 

Within the framework of the meeting, the conformation of the Executive Committee for the period 2022-2023 was established. The presidency of the organization will be occupied by Andrew Bowman, representative of TAANZ, Association of Travel Agencies of New Zealand; For her part, the vice-presidency will once again be occupied by the executive president of ANATO, Paula Cortés Calle, as a delegate of the Latin American Tourism Forum (FOLATUR).  

"We ratify our commitment, as representatives of Latin American Travel Agencies, to highlight its importance in this industry, in which professionalism, competitiveness, orientation and experience are essential for the recovery and development of the sector in the world," he said.
