Brazil launches a new campaign to promote its destinations for Latin America

The 2022-2023 summer promises to be historic for Brazil, whose levels of activity are already approaching those of before the pandemic

To publicize their destinations, the Brazilian Agency for the International Promotion of Tourism, EMBRATUR, launched the advertising campaign "Come experience the heat of Brazil!", aimed at audiences in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, and Peru.

The dissemination of the promotional pieces will last until January 2023, and its objective is to consolidate Brazil as a diverse South American destination in terms of attractions, with an emphasis on the sun, beach and nature segments.

The campaign highlights the bond that unites Latin Americans: warmth, expressed through the climate, the receptivity, the music and the surprising flavors of its gastronomy. The visual elements include beach, sun, nature and adventure scenarios, which characterize Brazil as a country where it is possible to live the most varied experiences safely and freely. The pieces include cities such as Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro), Ilhéus (Bahia), Parnaíba (Piaú), Lençóis Maranhenses (Maranhao), Foz do Iguaçu (Paraná) and Manaus, in the state of Amazonas, among others.

The advertising pieces will be disclosed on open and subscription TV, billboards in public places, newspapers and the Internet. The campaign "Come and experience the heat of Brazil!" It is the second that EMBRATUR launches this year, between November 2021 and March 7, 2022, "One, two, three, Brazil!" was released, a campaign of regional scope (Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay), which registered more than 1,400 million impacts, which is the measure used to indicate the times that the pieces were seen by the public.

"Neighboring countries are strategic for the promotion of our destinations and have been very important in the recovery of tourism after the pandemic. Therefore, we are going to reinforce that enjoying the beaches, nature, culture, gastronomy and receptivity from Brazil is close and it is an incredible experience", estimates the president of EMBRATUR, Gilson Machado Neto.

According to data from the National Civil Aviation Agency, ANAC, until November 29, 2022, 190 new international air frequencies to and from Brazilian airports were recorded, and of this total, 80% went to cities in South America.
