Brazil takes to the streets of Qatar during the World Cup

There are pieces that promote the attractions of Brazil are scattered in buildings, avenues and in the Dubai airport

Like the Brazilian National Team, destinations and products from Brazil are guaranteed in the next phase of the World Cup. This is because the Embratur campaign that publicizes the country's attractions during the World Cup in Qatar continues to impress the audience, with advertising pieces on buildings, avenues and at the Dubai airport (see images below). The promotion carried out by the Agency began on November 21 and will run until December 18 (closing day of the contest).

Qatar expects to receive around 1.2 million foreign tourists in just four weeks and the Embratur campaign should cause around 500 million hits. The action includes two mega-towers at the Lusail Circuit (the hub of the World Cup) and 36 digital screens at the Doha Festival City Mall. The advertising pieces invite international tourists to visit the “champion destination” and promote the segments of sun and beach, nature and adventure in Brazil.

In addition, the Agency takes advantage of the flow of tourists during the World Cup to promote Brazil in Dubai and on social networks. The city in the United Arab Emirates consecrated by tourism is located less than 700km from Qatar and has received a large number of travelers to the World Cup, who prefer to stay and enjoy the attractions of the emirate.

Brazil and United Arab Emirates

Seeking to expand the entry of foreigners to Brazil and focused on strategic markets, Embratur became, in August, a member of the Brazilian Arab Chamber of Commerce (CCAB). The alliance, valid for one year, involves actions to attract Arab tourists, coordination and mediation by the CCAB with operators and actors in the tourism sector in all the countries of the region, in addition to a broad package of benefits for the other members.

The forecast is that tourists from the United Arab Emirates spend US$ 200 billion in tourism in 2024 and Brazil sees this market as strategic. In addition to the association with CCAB, Embratur also made a press trip with journalists and influencers from Dubai, was present at Expo Dubai and participated in the 4th edition of the Brazil & Arab Countries Economic Forum. The Agency also works with airlines to increase the number of flights between the Arab countries and Brazil.
