Sandos Hotels & Resorts received the Travelife Gold certificate
It received the certificate for all its hotels in Spain and Mexico for being classified as sustainable accommodation
For yet another year, Sandos Hotels & Resorts has managed to renew the seal granted by the Travelife international certification program, thanks to its commitment to social responsibility and all the actions it carries out to reduce its environmental impact. In Mexico, it applies to its four properties: Sandos Caracol, Sandos Playacar, Sandos Cancún and Sandos Finisterra.
Some of the measures that are promoted in all the hotels that aim to reduce their ecological footprint and demonstrate their concern for the planet are the installation of solar panels, waste management, the existence of recycling points in the hotels, reduction of single-use plastics, the exhibition of informative posters, awareness about recycling, and the reduction of electricity and water consumption in the facilities.
The hotel group is committed daily to offer its guests the best conditions for their vacations, and likewise, raises awareness about caring for the environment. After a demanding audit of each of the establishments, it was possible to verify that they meet the Travelife requirements, which allowed them to obtain the certificate and, therefore, the guarantee that when choosing Sandos, clients are opting for an ecologically respectful hotel. .
