Grupo Piñero reaffirms its commitment to solidarity with social actions

Among the most outstanding actions is the signing of collaboration agreements with different educational centers in destination for the remodeling of their facilities and the collaboration with associations and foundations in each of the countries in which it is present

Grupo Piñero, a Spanish tourist company with almost 50 years of history, once again joins the celebration of International Solidarity Day, which takes place every year on December 20. In this sense, and in line with its commitment as a responsible company and contribution to the development of the communities in which it operates, on this occasion, Grupo Piñero commemorates the event in a special way and, beyond sticking to developing actions framed in On this particular day, the company has materialized its commitment to launch different social initiatives in collaboration with hospitals, schools and foundations throughout the month of December in the different destinations where it is present.

In the Riviera Maya, Mexico, the company has supported the Municipality of Tulum through various Christmas initiatives. On the one hand, to the Chemuyil community with the assembly and lighting of a Christmas tree in its central square. On the other hand, we have collaborated with the Matilde Montoya School with the design of a mural on the main façade, inspired by childhood and with the improvement of its facilities so that children can learn in optimal conditions.

Committed to solidarity in all destinations

From its headquarters, Grupo Piñero has collaborated with Fundación La Caixa in a new edition of the 'The Tree of Dreams' initiative, whose objective is to help children in vulnerable situations have a gift this Christmas.

In the Dominican Republic, the El Cortecito School (Bávaro) has benefited from a collaboration agreement to improve its facilities; and the El Soco School (Romana), the María Álvarez-La Barbacoa School (Portillo) and the Antonio Rodriguez Trinidad Educational Center (Samaná) with the celebration of an end-of-year Christmas party, in which, in addition, in the case from the latter, he received a donation of school supplies. Also, Grupo Piñero organized for the Pasos de Inclusión Foundation (From Bahia Principe Grand Cayacoa in the province of Samaná) -which defends and cares for people with intellectual disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders and specific needs in educational matters, training or therapeutic rehabilitation- a popular festival with entertainment and food to promote the integration of groups with disabilities.

At the same time, in Jamaica, Grupo Piñero has collaborated in improving the facilities of St Ann's Bay Hospital, renovating and remodeling several rooms in the center.
