Typical Catalan products to celebrate Christmas on board. This is how LEVEL celebrates these festivities with its ticket: through a nod to Catalan gastronomy, as a link and sign of identity with its home and center of operations: the city of Barcelona.
Until next January 1, the airline will offer a special Christmas menu based on typical and traditional Catalan recipes on board on all its flights from Barcelona.
LEVEL will serve as part of this menu: Catalan sausages, as starters accompanied by crunchy salty biscuits, followed by a main course to choose between two options: Catalan chicken, the quintessential dish of the December 25 festival in all Catalan homes and mushroom cannelloni, a traditional dish the day after Christmas, when Sant Esteve is celebrated. For dessert, a very Christmassy and typical sweet in Catalonia, the yolk cake with a touch of nougat.
In addition, the airline will give all its passengers a gift on the most marked dates of the Christmas calendar, such as Christmas Eve, Christmas, San Esteban, New Year's Eve and New Year, with a nougat tasting on all its flights.
According to Joan Martínez, Head of Customer Experience at LEVEL: “We want people who fly LEVEL during the holidays to have a special on-board experience and, for this, we bring them closer to the typical Christmas gastronomy of our land, Catalonia. Christmas is an important date, especially for those who take a flight to return home or to meet their loved ones, and at LEVEL we want to contribute to making this moment warm and festive”.
LEVEL operates throughout this winter season 2022-23 three routes in the United States, specifically, New York, Boston and Los Angeles, with three weekly frequencies each and two routes in South America: Buenos Aires, with a daily flight and Santiago de Chile, which has up to four weekly frequencies.
