The Spanish chain Sercotel Hotel Group will announce at FITUR the beginning of a new era marked by a transformation of the company, which will be based on three main axes: a renewed brand and philosophy, an evolution in its business strategy and a strong commitment to technology.
José Rodríguez, CEO of Sercotel Hotel Group, points out: "We are very proud to present a new strategy that consolidates the growth of the group, always with the aim of providing the best service to our customers and continuing to be one of the most important hotel groups in the sector."
New edition of Sercotel Talks
The hotel chain will celebrate a new edition of the Sercotel Talks with different round tables and interviews, in which the great challenges and the main trends of the tourism and hotel sectors will be discussed and reflected on. The event will be held on January 18, 19 and 20, within the framework of FITUR, in Madrid. It will be a space for dialogue and the exchange of knowledge open to all those attending the fair.
The Sercotel Talks will have the participation, among other speakers, of Inmaculada Benito, director of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sport at CEOE; Luís Miguel Martín, CIO at Selenta Group and president of CIOS.cat; Pablo Soto, innovation manager at Vodafone; David Noack, director at the Madrid Convention Bureau; Miguel Angel Pérez, Brand & Markets Director at Visit València; or Mercedes Rodríguez, director of Bilbao Turismo.
This edition's program will address topics such as the challenges that tourism will face in 2023, the resurgence of the MICE segment after the impact of the pandemic, and will also analyze the macroeconomic environment in the tourism sector, or the new trends on digital customer experience.
This year the company has a stand with a renewed design, in a new location (Hall 10, Stand 10C07), and larger, in which two areas have been reserved for holding these talks.
