From January 18 to 22, Uruguay participates as it has for 42 years in the International Tourism Fair (Fitur), in Madrid, Spain, with the aim of publicizing the country's new products and offers in the European market. In addition, nine private operators will be present (Dcom, Amestoy Uruguay, Daniel Reyes, Personal Operadora, Fourlong Incoming, Grand Hotel, Sofitel, Buquebus) among them the mutual CASMU that participates for the first time working on the Health Tourism product.

Uruguay was chosen as the venue for Termatalia 2023 and for this reason two conferences will be held, one at the Galician stand and another in Uruguay where details of the event will be provided.
Tourists from the European market who visit Uruguay are around 4% and for Minister Tabaré Viera “it is a market that still needs to be appreciated and increased. When Europeans get to know Uruguay, they fall in love with it, in fact there are many who have gone to live in the country, people who have lived or worked, as diplomats, company representatives, ”he said.
