Uruguay will participate in FITUR again

The country presentation will be focused on the Gastronomic Tourism and Wine Tourism theme and in this context there will also be launches

From January 18 to 22, Uruguay participates as it has for 42 years in the International Tourism Fair (Fitur), in Madrid, Spain, with the aim of publicizing the country's new products and offers in the European market. Participating on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism are Minister Tabaré Viera, the National Director Roque Baudean, the Tourism Planning Manager, Doris Rodríguez, the benchmark for gastronomy and wine tourism, Alejandra Cabrera, together with the Municipalities of Maldonado and Montevideo, and the President of the Uruguayan Chamber of Tourism, Marina Cantera.

In addition, nine private operators will be present (Dcom, Amestoy Uruguay, Daniel Reyes, Personal Operadora, Fourlong Incoming, Grand Hotel, Sofitel, Buquebus) among them the mutual CASMU that participates for the first time working on the Health Tourism product.
