Mardi Gras celebration comes to Florida with new menu, parades and live shows

Through March 5, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will celebrate Mardi Gras, one of the park's fan-favorite events. Inspired by the vibrant colors and delicious flavors of the biggest party in New Orleans, Mardi Gras at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will provide guests with festive moments with Cajun-inspired culinary delights and exciting entertainment options for the whole family.

Authentic Cajun Cuisine

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay brought the "Big Easy" to Tampa Bay with Mardi Gras-inspired dining options. Park guests will be able to celebrate the event New Orleans style, varying between gumbo, jambalaya, beignets and more types of Cajun food. In addition, classic drinks will be available, including Hurricanes, Spiced Rum Sangria and a new "Throw Me Some Beads" punch. Some of the new menu items are:

  • Andouille Sausage Po'Boy
  • Crawfish Etouffee
  • King Cake Donut
  • Dirty Rice and Beans
  • Shrimp Creole

For even more, guests can sample all of the food and beverage options by purchasing 5- or 10-sample cards starting at $40. Sampler Lanyards are available for purchase online.

A super colorful and musical parade

Costumed performers to the beat of jazz bring the Mardi Gras celebration to life at Busch Gardens. This year's parade will be even bigger, with new characters enlivening the entire tour, starting at the Zagora Café and Market. Visitors will be able to march to the beat of live music while singing and partying together.
