Ecuador at FITUR 2023
The Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador participates in FITUR 2023 exposing the country's tourism offer and strengthening commercial relations with the main players in the sector. The country's stand (3E11) is attended by a delegation from the Ministry of Tourism and is completed with a total of 20 co-exhibitors, who work to position the destination in one of its priority markets. During the first three days of the fair, the Ecuadorian authorities and businessmen have maintained an intense agenda of meetings with the heads of the main trade agents and have offered interviews to the most influential Spanish media on the national scene.
The tourist diversity of Ecuador is represented at the FITUR 2023 stand through an endless number of cultural and gastronomic representations capable of transporting its visitors to the four worlds of the country. The Amazon, which demonstrates the natural wealth of the area and makes the country the most diverse per square kilometer in the world; the Pacific Coast, where the warm climate, the beaches and the big waves are the main attractions; the Sierra, where the imposing Andes Mountains are located, as well as Quito, the capital of the country and the first city in Latin America to be declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO; and the Galapagos Islands, which arouse the interest of many thanks to its marine fauna and its black beaches that reveal the volcanic origin of the island.
