FITUR 2023, the International Tourism Fair, organized by IFEMA MADRID, has once again distinguished the best stands of its 43rd edition. An award that recognizes the professionalism, design and promotion of each of the featured stands, assessing their suitability for marketing needs, identification with the product they promote, design, quality, aesthetic impact, and degree of originality and innovation.
In the Autonomous Communities and Institutions category, the standout stands were Euskadi Basque Country, Government of Cantabria and La Rioja Turismo.
The La Rioja stand shows tradition, gastronomy and identity, through a colorful and lively paste. A space full of spontaneity, with a sculptural character that recreates a symbiosis with the territory. Cantabria presents itself, with elegance and naturalness, as a place of stories, nature, culture and many places to discover. The Cantabrian space is articulated through very organic lines in different tones and materials that envelop and welcome the visitor, including the anamorphism of the Lignum Crucis. These fluid lines or brushstrokes make looking at it from wherever you look, always take us to infinite Cantabria. Euskadi shows sobriety, forcefulness and avant-garde. The Basque Country manages once again, with unabashed theatricality, to reflect that precise mix that they know how to make of technology and nature, avant-garde and tradition, innovation and history. A scenic space that hides just enough and shows what is necessary, which appears hermetic, but at the same time invites us to enter and start our journey there.
Countries and Regions
On the other hand, in the category of Countries and Regions, FITUR has awarded the stands of Andorra Turisme, Guatemala and the Korea Tourism Organization.
Andorra's stand is a metaphor for its landscape: mountains, snow, adventure tourism and more. With elements of minimalist lines, wood, ropes and light boxes, they take us to either a suspension bridge or a ski slope, a spa or a rock climbing wall, ultimately inviting us to learn a little more about this destination.
