RIU Hotels has celebrated its fifth edition of the RIU Latam Awards, awards that recognize the work of the most important tour operators and travel agents in Latin America for the hotel chain. The event, held within the framework of FITUR at the Riu Plaza España, in Madrid, brought together a total of 28 key and leading companies in the tourism sector, as well as Latin American media, at the hotel's Sky Bar, in the They were able to enjoy a pleasant evening together.
The event began with a Mexican Mariachi band, as a particular tribute to the 25th anniversary of RIU Hotels in 2022. Once the evening began, the attendees continued with a dinner that, at its conclusion, included the words of Senén Fornos, Senior VP Marketing & Contracting, who assured that RIU had "an extraordinary 2022 thanks to the work of all those present" and that, for this reason, the chain wanted to recognize their work.
Thus, all the attending accounts received their Best Partner award from RIU, as a thank you for the work carried out together in 2022, as well as years ago. Five special awards were also given at the event to the TOP 5 Producers of the year, in recognition of the accounts with the most production in the last year and which, in this edition, were all from Argentina: CVC Corp Argentina, Tower Travel, FreeWay, Delfos and Juliatours, in that order, were the accounts with the highest production for RIU in 2022.
