Tourist Showcase, which this year reaches its 42nd version and which promises to once again be the setting for successful businesses for the creation of products and services that travelers will be able to enjoy in the upcoming holiday seasons.
“The marketing process for the event is about to end, due to the good reception of the participating businessmen and the rapid request for spaces. Currently, 98% of the exhibition places have already been assigned”, explained Paula Cortés Calle, executive president of ANATO.
And he added: "Each year, the Tourism Showcase gets stronger, attracts new companies, as well as national and international destinations, and that makes us an international benchmark and a strategic hub for the participants."
With the support of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, the 32 departments of Colombia will participate, which will exhibit all the products and services of their regions. It will also be an opportunity to publicize and promote the attractions of the country's tourist destinations.
To date, there has been a 75% growth in the number of registrations, when compared to the same period of the previous version, which confirms the interest of the entire sector chain in being part of this important commercial event.
It should be noted that the Top 5 of the professionals participating in the Tourism Showcase belong to companies whose activity corresponds to Travel and Tourism Agencies (38%), Travel Operator Agencies (14%), Hotel or Hotel Chain (14%), Agency of Wholesale Travel (8%) and National Official Organization (8%).
