The MEF is one of the most recognized scientific institutions in Argentina, and unquestionably an international benchmark in paleontology, both for the discoveries and for the samples that are presented. Visiting hours can be done every day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The tour is designed to be self-guided, although guided tours are also offered. Tickets can be obtained online or physically at the museum.

Within the establishment, more than 15 different dinosaurs and more than 200 species of plants can be observed, together with one of the most detailed records of pollen and seeds in South America. One of the main attractions is a replica of Patagotitan mayorum, the largest dinosaur in the world.
