In the main resort of the city of Rawson, Playa Unión, you can take a nautical tour that lasts approximately one hour where you can observe the particular Patagonian dolphins or bottlenose dolphins. The sighting is offered throughout the year.

The tour begins at the mouth of the Chubut River to see the sea lions of a hair, appreciate the Port of Rawson and the different species of coastal birds, and then continue towards the sea in search of the bottlenose dolphins.

There are few places in the world where you can see the bottlenose dolphin in its natural habitat, which is why thousands of tourists choose to experience this spectacle. The Patagonian dolphin is a cetacean that does not exceed 1.5 meters in length and 40 kilograms in weight.

The tail, head, and all fins are black, and the rest of the body is white. They are characterized by being very fast and making great jumps over the water.
