A few years ago, a 2018 Booking.com study showed that one of the first questions travelers asked when they arrived at the reception of a property to stay was: what is the Wi-Fi password? That question is very likely to continue being heard today, at each check-in.
Currently and with a view to the summer season that is coming up in the Southern Hemisphere, Booking.com identified a more than striking contradiction, in its research called Travel Predictions, between the international travel community that wants to disconnect but with Internet and cell phones in the hand. Something strange but related to the world in which we live where the cell phone and the Internet connection are part of our daily life.
But what does "disconnecting from everything" really mean for travelers in 2023? More than (41%) of Argentines say that there is something that is non-negotiable: the chosen destination must have an Internet connection and telephone coverage For this reason, many travelers go to explore nature, but with cell phones in hand.
In this context, these are the nationalities, by percentages, that, like the Argentines, negotiate connection and cellular.
