The City Council, through Quito Turismo, maintains and promotes actions to promote the capital of Ecuador as an ideal destination to enjoy adventure and nature.
In this sense, this Tuesday, February 17, the presentation caravan “Adventure Connect 2023” started in Boston, an event organized by Quito Turismo and the Adventure Travel Commercial Association (ATTA), and in which professionals from the ecotourism segment participated. and adventure tourism, Ecuadorian businessmen and North American tour operators to establish opportunities for the development of tourism in the capital.
On the first day of the road show, the manager of Quito Turismo, María Cristina Rivadeneira, highlighted the charms that can be found in the Metropolitan District and recalled that Quito has unique natural attractions.
“The Chocó Andino, the seventh biosphere reserve in Ecuador, is an ideal area for ecotourism. Bird watching, adventure tourism, camping, hiking, cycling and more are part of the offer that can be found just a few minutes from the city”, he pointed out.
