The President of the Fueguino Tourism Institute, Dante Querciali together with a national delegation headed by authorities from the National Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Tourism Promotion Institute, were promoted Tierra del Fuego, held meetings with tour operators and media.
Last Monday the promotional actions began at the Buy Argentina in Brussels, organized by INPROTUR together with the Argentine Embassy in Belgium, where meetings were held with 45 Belgian operators who learned about the products, services and attractions of Tierra del Fuego.
In this regard, Querciali indicated that "it is always beneficial for our destination to be able to participate in these events where we meet with operators who market the services we offer in Tierra del Fuego and others who wish to join, with a focus on adventure tourism experiences and nature".
“Our main objective is to continue positioning the province as a destination for nature and snow, and thus recover international tourism levels from the pre-pandemic,” said the official.
On Tuesday, the International Tourism Fair began in Berlin, with the presence of the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, Matías Lammens, the Secretary of Tourism Promotion of the Nation, Yanina Martínez, the executive secretary of INPROTUR, Ricardo Sosa, the president of the Argentine Chamber of Tourism, Gustavo Hani, among other authorities along with 20 Argentine businessmen who will promote the country for three days at the most important fair in Germany.
After the opening of the Fair, the President of the Institute participated in a meeting on cruise tourism with Ute Hohn-Bowen, board member of the International Association of Antarctic Tour Operators (IAATO), Minister Lammens, President of the CAT, the Executive Secretary of INPROTUR and the Undersecretary of Strategic Development of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Nation; Eugenia Benedetti. Where, they discussed the importance of Antarctic tourist activity and its growth. Likewise, Querciali expressed his satisfaction with the support provided by IAATO and the national authorities to continue positioning Tierra del Fuego in the Antarctic cruise market.
