Verónica Pardo has been appointed Undersecretary of Tourism of Chile. The executive will be the link of the industry within the government of President Gabriel Boric.
Pardo comes to replace Verónica Kunze, who held the position since the beginning of the government's mandate in March 2022.
The official toured all the units and also the Sernatur, greeting officials, listening to their concerns and goals.
When saying goodbye, Verónica Kunze stated: “We proudly close a great cycle, where we met with public and private actors from all over Chile, highlighting the role of tourism in our economy and recovering sources of employment after the pandemic. Work made possible thanks to the @subturismo team, who will continue with the same passion”.
