The Peppa Pig theme park, just steps from the entrance to Legoland Florida Resort in Winter Haven, less than an hour from Orlando, recently celebrated its one-year anniversary. Every corner of the enchanting theme park, a first for the famous pig and her friends in the world, is designed for preschoolers to have a happy and immersive experience.
At this theme park, young visitors can enjoy six rides, six themed stages, and a water play area. In addition to leisure spaces, shows, splash pads, additional attractions and, of course, encounters with characters. Peppa Pig Theme Park was the first theme park in the United States to receive the Certified Autism Center (CAC) designation. It has an excellent sensory guide that provides information about touch, taste, hearing, sight and smell. Sensory guidelines are posted on all rides and attractions. And the entire staff is prepared to accommodate visitors with sensory sensitivities, and the park also offers quiet areas and sensory kits.
And it is a park that keeps up with the little ones. That is, without pressure or long walks to get to the next attraction. But, it reserves a lot of fun for children, leaving memories for a lifetime. From their first roller coaster rides with their parents and family-friendly carnival rides, to a trike ride along a sensory trail and a colorful area that celebrates the fun of "mud puddle jumping."
Through each attraction, the little ones create their first memories in the theme park with Peppa and the gang. And, in almost all the attractions, the fun can be with the parents or guardians. Among the highlights is the Daddy Pig roller coaster where, aboard the character's iconic red car, guests embark on an unexpected adventure where Mr. Bull is exploring the road and Daddy Pig finds a shortcut.
Another of the attractions that makes the little ones happy is the Peppa Pig Balloon Ride, as well as the Grandad Dog's Pirate Boat Ride in search of a hidden treasure and the Peppa Bike Ride and George's Tricycle where the little ones pedal on a forest adventure, through frigid mountains to see the sights, smells and sounds of the great outdoors. And the fun continues with many unique water games and settings.
