To promote Earth Hour this Saturday the 25th, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the Marriott Int hotels in Brazil organized a series of actions to support the cause, which aims to make visible the care of the planet.
The Renaissance São Paulo Hotel will turn off the lights in the lobby and dim the lighting in the club lounge. Additionally, guests will be treated to a special happy hour with a complimentary drink during Earth Hour.
At the JW Marriott Hotel São Paulo, guests will be invited to turn off the lights in their rooms and head to the lobby for a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. The JW SPA will also hold a candlelight meditation in the pool area at 8:30 p.m. m.
At Marriott Executive Apartments São Paulo, guests will be asked to turn off lights from 8:30 p.m. m. to 9:30 p.m. m. And the lobby will be lit with LED lights and recycled glass bottles.
The São Paulo Airport Marriott will invite guests to turn off the lights and go down to the lobby, where there will be vocal and guitar music in the chapel and LED candle lighting, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Guests will also receive an Aperol Spritz drink and sustainable snacks made from vegetable and fruit parts that are often thrown away. They will be served in containers made from recycled glass.
At the Sheraton Santos Hotel, the lobby and restaurant will be lit with LED candles, the Health Club will work with lower lighting and the external logo will be off for one hour.
In Rio de Janeiro, the Sheraton Grand will carry out its main action in the lobby bar, turning off its lights. The lighting will be by candlelight and an exclusive drink will be created for the event, the Drink of the Earth. In addition, neon bracelets will be distributed to the guests.
At the JW Marriott Hotel Rio de Janeiro, the lobby will be lit with LED candles, there will be a pianist playing on-site, and guests will be served sparkling wine and canapés.
The Courtyard/Residence Inn by Marriott Barra da Tijuca will illuminate the lobby and restaurant with LED candles.
