With a trajectory of more than 9 years in the union, leading the management and direction of projects in the sector, oriented towards the strengthening of public-private alliances, the Board of Directors of ANATO appointed Jessica Arévalo Alzate to occupy the executive direction of ANATO .

She is a business administrator graduated from the Santo Tomás University, with a master's degree in Innovation from the EAN University. She had been working as deputy director of projects, a position from which she developed diagnoses towards the search for opportunities to generate transformative strategies that contribute to the sector.

Likewise, he was part of the creation of the Receptive Tourism Committee; He has led the formulation and execution of competitiveness projects such as the National Congress of Travel and Tourism Agencies of ANATO, the National Meeting of Receptive Tourism, international fairs, certifications in sectoral quality standards, among others; as well as promotional projects such as business roundtables, familiarization trips, and strategic communication plans.

“We are sure that his arrival will give a greater position to the Association, as a fundamental entity for the consolidation of tourism in our country before public and private entities of a national and regional order. We believe that his career, hand in hand with the Travel Agencies, will be an important support towards strengthening the sector”, said Paula Cortés Calle, executive president of ANATO.
