Tianguis Turístico is the most relevant event of the Tourism sector in Mexico and a business forum based on pre-established appointments between Buyers and Exhibitors.
In this highly professional convention, Mexico promotes its great variety of tourist products and once again projects itself as a tourist destination of excellence at a national and international level.
32 states participate and there will be more than 600 exhibiting companies that will seek to attract more than 700 buyers from 5 continents represented.
Among the exhibitors, independent hotels and hotel chains, airlines, tourism representations of the 32 States of the Mexican Republic, DMC's and fairgrounds stand out. They will be exhibiting in an area of about 30,000 square meters.
Among the buyers, there will be the presence of tour operators, travel agents, tourist associations, MICE segment executives, globalizers and consolidators. The organization reported that more than 40,000 business appointments will be held.
It is estimated that within the framework of this event, the country's capital receives around 15,000 visitors associated with national and international companies in the tourism industry, an opportunity to show the cultural capital of America, an ancient city, where you can find from pre-Hispanic culture to the most modern.
The Tianguis Turístico México, Mexico City 2023, indicated Torruco Marqués, will have for the first time a “Mundo Maya” pavilion -with representation from Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico-, as well as the Mayan Train; a special space of Punto México, focused on artisans, -the heirs of culture-, a pavilion of international Mexican airlines and more than 30 virtual seminars with various topics of cultural interest.
The Head of Government of Mexico City Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo highlighted the participation of the 32 states in an exhibition that will be installed on Paseo de la Reforma, in such a way that the population knows its tourist offer, importance and cultural recognition.
