In line with the commitment to adopt the best practices to reduce polluting emissions from its operations, including sales and service on board, Volaris has implemented various actions aimed at reducing its environmental footprint:

100% of single-use plastics have been replaced by biodegradable material: forks, stirrers, plastic cups and napkins. In addition, 100% of the service consumables on board are biodegradable (paper hand towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, soap). And 98% of the products offered for sale on board have biodegradable packaging.

In addition, the airline has already reduced CO2 emissions from its on-board service by 11%, thanks to the purchase of ultralight trolleys (service trolleys): 29% of all of them are already ultralight, reduction of transported boxes, and a mix of product for lighter sale. And continue working to continuously improve with the following goals:

2023: eliminate 100% non-biodegradable packaging from products sold on board and make 70% of our trolleys ultralight.

2024: that the Entre Nubes menu is 100% digital, in order to reduce the use of paper on board.
