Air Canada launches a new connection between Vancouver and Dubai

Air Canada announced the strategic expansion of its international network with the addition of new non-stop flights from its hub at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Dubai. The new route will operate four times a week starting October 28 aboard Air Canada's flagship Dreamliner fleet. The airline's new Vancouver-Dubai flights will complement Air Canada's daily service between Toronto and Dubai, expanding its presence in fast-growing international markets.

and East Africa in Dubai, providing customers with convenient options while traveling on business or visiting friends and family," said Mark Galardo, Air Canada's senior vice president of network planning and revenue management.

Air Canada's inflight international services showcase some of Canada's best culinary talent through a panel of celebrity chefs, including award-winning Vancouver chefs David Hawksworth and Vikram Vij, and renowned chefs from Montreal Antonio Park and Jerome Ferrer. Complementing the culinary journey is a selection of the best wines chosen by leading Canadian sommelier, Véronique Rivest.

The Vancouver and Dubai flights will be operated with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with three service cabins, including Signature Class with reclining seats, Premium Economy and Economy Class. Flights have also been designed to conveniently connect to and from destinations in Alberta, British Columbia and the western US through Air Canada's hub in Vancouver.
