Avianca will operate new routes temporarily with the airline Wamos Air

Seeking to have a greater capacity and offer in its route network, Avianca contracted the airline Wamos Air for the operation of its flights Bogotá - Los Angeles - Bogotá and the seasonal route San Salvador - Madrid - San Salvador.

This airline has already provided its services to the Company, allowing it to maintain its commitment to travelers and reliably comply with scheduled itineraries. The wet lease modality (aircraft leasing) is a common practice in the airline industry that seeks to support commercial airline operations, when necessary, such as additional flights due to high season or to maintain capacity in the route network.

On the Bogotá - Los Ángeles – Bogotá route:
In preparation for the incorporation of more Boeing 787 aircraft to its fleet, Avianca will operate on wet lease with Wamos Air the Bogotá – Los Ángeles – Bogotá flights between April 20 and October 28 , said operation will be in a double-aisle Airbus 330-200 aircraft with 241 seats. Customers who already had reservations on these flights received notification of the change of operator and it is important to note that:

They will receive the same menu of food and drinks, as well as the comfort items on board.

They will have access to an entertainment system and additional services previously purchased will be respected.

The itinerary of your flight does not change and its number is maintained, only the operator changes.

About the route San Salvador – Madrid – San Salvador*:
The new route will be available to fly between June 20 and September 20 of this year, with 3 weekly flights on Airbus A330 aircraft with capacity for 280 passengers.

For the operation of this route, Avianca contracted the services of Wamos Air, a Spanish airline specializing in charter and wet lease flights.
