MSC Meraviglia, MSC Cruises' award-winning Meraviglia Class ship, has arrived at her new home port in New York at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. The ship's arrival marks the first time MSC Cruises has deployed a ship to New York operating year-round voyages. This further strengthens MSC Cruises' presence in the North American market and is part of the line's growth commitment to offer more US ports of embarkation, complementing the rich offering of ships and itineraries sailing both from the Port of Miami and from Port Canaveral/Orlando in Florida.
New York offers incredible air connections for international customers and for those who want to enjoy the Big Apple to the fullest, MSC Cruises offers "Stay & Cruise" packages with the option to spend up to three nights in New York before setting sail. There is a selection of hotels available, including the Hotel Riu Plaza Manhattan, the Hotel Riu Plaza Times Square and the Park Central Hotel. As part of the package, guests can enjoy a free guided tour of Manhattan and its iconic landmarks before boarding. To complete the complete offer, the hotel staff is at your disposal to book other excursions, from a standard city tour to a special night excursion.
MSC Meraviglia's itinerary mix, from 6 to 11 nights, has been strategically designed to take advantage of New York's geographic flexibility, so guests can soak up the Caribbean sun during the northern hemisphere spring and winter, head to the Bermuda in the summer or head north to see Canada's natural beauty in the fall.
Itineraries from New York on MSC Meraviglia include:
The Bahamas and Florida - 7-11 night tropical sailings with a selection of destinations including Miami and Port Canaveral, Florida; Nassau Ocean Cay MSC Reserve and Marina, The Bahamas; Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico.
Bermuda – Starting in August, guests will be able to enjoy 5- and 6-night sailings to Kings Wharf in Bermuda, with several days in port to explore the beauty of the island.
