This morning, with the collaboration of the receptive agency Novoriente, the Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR), Ricardo Sosa, received the first group of Chinese tourists visiting Argentina after the pandemic in the city of Buenos Aires . During the meeting, the official warmly welcomed the tourists and gave them presents.

“We are very happy to be able to receive the first Chinese tourists after the pandemic and we are also very proud to be one of the nations chosen by China for its travelers to visit. With this group we begin the reactivation of Chinese tourism in Argentina," said Sosa.

It should be noted that Argentina is part of the list of 20 countries authorized by China for its tourists to go abroad. In addition, our country has the privilege of being the only nation in South America on the aforementioned list.

After visiting Buenos Aires, the group of Chinese men and women will pass through Puerto Iguazú, province of Misiones, to enjoy the Iguazú Falls (one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World) and later they will arrive in Ushuaia (capital of Tierra del Fuego and known as the City of the End of the World) and El Calafate (Santa Cruz province) to enjoy the famous Perito Moreno glacier.

The reopening with the Chinese market marks the recovery of the tourist movement with the Asian country. From this reception, other Argentine actions will take place in China.
