Ane Echeverria, a veteran with more than 20 years of international experience in luxury hotels, has been appointed General Manager of the beach property, The Ocean Club, a Luxury Collection Resort, Costa Norte in Sosúa, Dominican Republic.
Throughout his international career in the ambitious hospitality industry, Echeverria has honed his interpersonal skills to meet the needs of the most demanding and high-profile guests. Ane, he has a strong focus on guest service delivery and operational excellence, which is complemented by an inherent ability to exude warmth and reliability in his roles.
Echeverria began his career in his home country of Spain, but following his desire to travel and explore new destinations and cultures, he moved to Europe and the Middle East to work in key areas of the hotel operation.
During his career he has worked in various cities and destinations such as Berlin, Abu Dhabi, London and Punta Mita, accumulating numerous awards for the hotels under his direction. After beginning her career in food and beverage, her work ethic and commitment to service led to several promotions to management roles in the rooms division, sales and marketing, and most recently as director of operations for a luxury resort in Mexico. .
Echeverria is fluent in four languages and is honored to be the ambassador of the hotel brand, The Luxury Collection and to promote all the authentic experiences that Costa Norte, her new home, offers as a unique destination.
