Busch Gardens Tampa Bay prepares to host Latino festivals in May

Cinco de Mayo and Viva La Música celebrations will feature musical performances, activities and flavors inspired by Latino culture

Throughout the month of May, on select dates, guests at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will be able to enjoy Latino-inspired dining and entertainment with the Cinco de Mayo celebration and Viva La Música festival. The events will feature typical dishes and live musical performances with salsa, merengue and Tex-Mex rhythms by renowned artists. Cinco de Mayo and Viva La Música will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 5-21 and are included in regular park admission.

Event participants will go on a true gastronomic journey through Latin America, with a completely renewed menu and dishes inspired by the cuisine of countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Venezuela and many more. Visitors will be able to experience foods such as:

Dishes available during the Cinco de Mayo weekend – May 5, 6 and 7:

As a perfect complement, visitors will also be able to taste a selection of wines from Spain, Chile and Argentina. Traditional cocktail options such as Caipirinha, Paloma, Mezcal Margarita and Michelada will also be available.

Incredible rhythms and shows

In addition to delicious food and drinks, visitors to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will be able to enjoy musical performances of rhythms such as salsa, merengue and Tex-Mex. Shows will take place on Saturdays and Sundays with an additional show on Friday, May 5. Performances are included in regular park admission.

To get even more out of it, guests can sample all of the food and drink options on offer at the festival by purchasing cards that include 10 or 15 samples. Sampler Lanyards are available for purchase online. Visitors must be 21 years or older to consume alcoholic beverages.
