SeaWorld Orlando is pleased to announce the opening date for the theme park's new roller coaster, Pipeline: The Surf Coaster. The attraction will be inaugurated on May 27 and will be the first "surf roller coaster" in the world, where visitors will be able to feel the power of the ocean like never before.

Innovative design elements that make this the first roller coaster of its kind are the launch and seat movements. The vehicle is shaped like a surfboard that will give visitors an immersive experience from the moment it starts. They will get on the coaster in a surfing position and launch at top speeds, feeling like they are riding a wave. Then, adventurers will feel a lot of adrenaline as the seats move up and down, providing an even more realistic experience.

The 880-meter course includes several curves, five moments of airtime (feeling of weightlessness), an innovative inversion that imitates a wave and will last 1 minute 50 seconds. The roller coaster reaches the maximum speed of 96 km/h and will climb up to 33 meters high. Visitors must be at least 1.37 meters tall to participate.

Pipeline is SeaWorld Orlando's seventh roller coaster, reinforcing the park's reputation as Orlando's roller coaster capital. She adds to an incredible selection of thrill rides that continue to break records and draw visitors from around the world.
