Tasting the most emblematic wines of Uruguay, contemplating the natural landscapes and enjoying the hospitality of the Casino & Resort in a unique and sophisticated environment, is the "Punta Wine Trips" experience that Enjoy Punta del Este offers to those who wish to enjoy wine tourism, in a complete package that includes tickets, transfers, stays, dinners and visits to the wineries.

In April the initiative had 60 tourists from Brazil. On this occasion, the tour was through the Garzón and Alto de la Ballena wineries, getting to know their vineyards and tasting their most outstanding labels, to then visit Casapueblo and enjoy an incomparable sunset.

In addition to learning about the different vines, the winemaking process and tasting the Estate and Reserve labels, at Bodega Garzón visitors had access to a regional culinary proposal with dishes specially seasoned with Colinas de Garzón extra virgin olive oil.

At the Alto de la Ballena winery, its owners Paula Pivel and Álvaro Lorenzo welcomed visitors for a tasting of five reserve and high-end wines, which they accompanied with a table of gourmet cheeses and local artisan sausages. At the same time, they had the chance to contemplate the views of Cerro Pan de Azúcar, the vineyards and Laguna del Sauce.

After visiting the two wineries, we continued with a tour of the Atelier Casapueblo Museum, an obligatory stop in Punta del Este.

On this occasion, the walk was crowned by the gourmet proposal "Wine Dinner" in St. Tropez, emblematic restaurant of the Casino & Resort, where they were delighted with a menu of steps by executive chef Magali O'Neill.

“Combining high-end wines with haute cuisine greatly enhances the experience and allows it to generate more value, to be an experience for all the senses and lead to a higher level of enjoyment.” said the Director of Sales and Institutional Relations of Enjoy Punta del Este, Javier Azcurra.

This experience will be available every month. In addition to experiencing wine tourism and the country's natural landscapes, clients will have accommodation and all the resort amenities available, such as access to an outdoor and indoor pool, relaxation area with Jacuzzi and dry sauna, paddle tennis court, towels and changing rooms, massages, gym and classes with specialized teachers.

"We believe that one of the great strengths of "Punta Wine Trips" is the combination of some of the great attributes and experiences that our city has, plus Enjoy's hospitality, experience and infrastructure, and thus add "excuses" that are attractive to tourists outside of the summer”, added Azcurra.
