Sabre Corporation, the leading provider of software and technology powering the global travel industry, today announced a new multi-year agreement with SKY Airline, a Chilean low-cost airline that flies to more than 40 destinations in 8 countries in the Americas. Thanks to this agreement, the airline will expand the scope of its flight offer in the Saber GDS and then migrate to the SaberSonic passenger service system (PSS).

SKY Airline will distribute its entire inventory of flights and services through Sabre's extensive global network of travel buyers, broadening its reach and allowing agencies to access content without any surcharge. This will allow Saber-connected travel agencies to offer even more flight options to their travelers.

"We are excited to expand our partnership with Sabre and be able to distribute our complete flight offering through its extensive network, so that more passengers can access it from different parts of the world. Today more than ever we value our relationship with the travel agency community and the millions of travelers they serve," said SKY CEO José Ignacio Dougnac. "It is important to us that these travelers have access to the best SKY offers from wherever they want, to fly on the newest and most environmentally friendly fleet in South America."

Sabre Travel Solutions Commercial Director Roshan Mendis says: "SKY is a major and fast-growing airline in the region. We are pleased to expand our relationship with this key customer across both distribution and their core IT solutions. Such as platform at the heart of the travel business, Sabre provides reliable performance, scalability, market reach and global support to help airlines manage complex requirements as they navigate this dynamic marketplace."

In addition, the partnership with Sabre will enable SKY to offer a personalized customer experience to capture new revenue opportunities through the use of the SabreSonic PSS, which is scheduled for implementation in 2024. Sabre's robust PSS will help SKY grow nationally and internationally through commercialization, codeshare agreements and alliances.
