LEVEL offers its clientele a new menu that includes local cuisine from the destinations to which it flies. Starting this May, the company's clientele can taste sea and mountain chicken or pasta with truffle sauce on flights from Barcelona; empanadas or alfajores from Latin America or mac&cheese and barbecue chicken from the United States.

In this way, the company is committed to local products, also in line with the airline's sustainability criteria. In fact, these local dishes and recipes are other novelties on LEVEL's advance sales platform (my.flylevel.com), thus increasing the number of products available to passengers.

People who fly with LEVEL can purchase them, up to 12 hours before the flight's departure, on the platform at a more competitive price than on board. In addition to benefiting from this option of maximum personalization of the experience, since the dishes are delivered directly to the seat, they also contribute to optimizing waste and food waste, as well as reducing the weight of the plane by optimizing the load to board of products.

The airline will rotate 6 different menus throughout the year, making available to its clientele a greater range of options to enjoy.

Food on board: more variety, more quantity and Barcelona brands

LEVEL also makes a casual bet on the options that the passenger can enjoy and buy on board. With this, the company comes to offer up to 60 products, including pizza, saloons, cava, nachos with guacamole or popcorn, to eat while enjoying one of the movies in the catalog on the plane or at any other time. All the news are already available on their planes.

In addition to these snacks, potato omelette on all flights or ham and cheese bagels from America are also available on board, so that the American public can have their favorite breakfast on board or the people of Barcelona who return home, say goodbye of the United States with a last bite of one of its gastronomic emblems.

The company has also made this new gastronomic offer adapting to all needs. In this way, LEVEL improves the offer of gluten-free products, with the potato omelette and cookies suitable for people with celiac disease.

Among the novelties in the catalogue, products from Cacaolat, Codorniu or Estrella Damm have also been incorporated, three brands originating from Barcelona and that maintain their roots in the important city. In this way, LEVEL also demonstrates, once again, the importance of being linked to Barcelona, through companies with deep roots and recognition.

Joan Martínez, Head of Customer Experience at LEVEL, stated: “At LEVEL we understand the flight as one more experience within the trip and, as part of it, gastronomy is a fundamental factor. For this reason, we are committed to renewing the menu with numerous novelties that follow the culinary trends of the moment and of each destination. In this way, we continue to add options on board that allow our clients to enjoy a fully personalized on-board experience and taste the destinations from their gastronomy”.
