The low cost airline SKY, with a presence in 8 countries in the Americas, reported that as of May 2, Mayra Kohler took over as the new Manager of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability.
The executive assumes the position in the middle of the expansion process of the airline in Latin America, in which it seeks to continue strengthening the strategy of sustainability, reputation and the relationship with different key stakeholders.
“The aeronautical industry has great challenges to move towards a sustainable operation, being increasingly friendly to the environment and neighboring communities. Transparency and closeness will be some of the concepts that we will continue to prioritize in the strategy as part of this important challenge," said the executive.
Mayra recently served as General Manager of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce of Chile. Previously, she was Deputy Manager of Corporate Affairs of the Chilean Security Association (ACHS), an external advisor in this same area at USEC and Deputy Manager of External Communications at Banco Santander.
She is a journalist and has a degree in social communication from the Pontificie Universidad Católica de Chile and has a master's degree in media and communication and development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
